Inland, Es Carritxo is in a very small village with a large history. Its church is surprisingly large in view of the few houses surrounding it but there has always been a large farming community in this area that live rurally and the hamlet was and still is the hub of it’s existence. Nowadays a large number of the houses spread through the surrounding countryside are less likely to be owned by farmers and more likely to have English and German proprietors. The houses in this area are very rustic and the basic exterior designs have changed little in the last hundres years.
